Ugly Betty
Kanal fem har köpt in serien Ugly Betty från amerikanska Touchstone Television och den visas nu på tisdagar kl 20.00. Serien har blivit superpopulär i USA där den visas på ABC, så lite nyfiken var jag allt att se vad det hela handlade om..
Premiären var idag och jag var tvungen att titta på vad jag först trodde var en dålig version av Djävulen bär Prada. Men jag hade fel och jag tycker faktiskt att den är lite underhållande och jag kan helt klart bänka mig även nästa vecka… Allt för att få en liten glimt av New York och lite snygga kläder (här räknar jag inte med Bettys egna)!
Serien är baserad på "Yo Soy Betty La Fea," vilket var en Colombiansk telenovela (vilket innebär en såpa med ett bestämt slut, en "minisåpaserie") som blev ett internationellt fenomen. Ugly Betty har många kända namn bakom sig så som Salma Hayek, som är en av producenterna av serien ihop med Silvio Horta ("Urban Legends"), Ben Silverman, ("The Office"), Jose Tamez ("The Maldonado Miracle"), James Parriott ("Grey's Anatomy") och James Hayman ("Joan of Arcadia").
Självklart är fashionistan PATRICIA FIELD, som spenderade fem år att klä SARAH JESSICA PARKER, KIM CATTRALL, KRISTIN DAVIS och CYNTHIA NIXON i Sex and the City, ansvarig kostymdesigner för att skapa Bettys look.
På ABC.com har de till och med en sida där man kan se och även shoppa flera av de accessoarer som förekommer i serien!
Gillar du mode så är den här serien faktiskt något jag rekommenderar. Den är helt klart underhållande!!
